Ingredients
Scale
- 1 teaspoon of finely ground Persian blue salt
- 1 cup of water (either nice and chilled or simply at room temperature)
- A few drops of lemon juice optional (this will enhance the flavor and add a little tartness)
- 1 teaspoon honey for added sweetness (if preferred)
- 2-3 mint leaves (optional for a refreshing touch)
Instructions
- First, fill a glass or bowl with 1 cup of water.
- Add a teaspoon of Persian blue salt, ensuring it’s thoroughly mixed with the water until fully dissolved.
- Feel free to enhance the flavor by adding a few drops of lemon juice and giving it a good stir.
- Stir in 1 teaspoon of honey for sweetness. Be sure to mix it thoroughly.
- For a finishing touch, you can garnish with mint leaves before serving. If you prefer it chilled, simply add some crushed ice.
Observations :
- Modify the salt quantity to your preference; however, be cautious not to add excess, as it can result in an overly salty flavor.
- Include cucumber slices for a detoxifying boost, helping to cleanse and refresh the body.
- In the absence of Persian blue salt, you can use pink salt as a substitute; however, be mindful that the flavor and potential benefits might vary.
- To make it fizzy, swap out the plain water for soda water.
- Avoid heating the water to maintain the properties of the blue salt.
