Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries

  • 2 tablespoons sugar (or maple syrup)

  • ¼ cup water

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup cold milk (any variety)

  • 2 shots espresso (or ½ cup strong brewed coffee)

  • 1 cup ice cubes

  • Optional: whipped cream or extra blueberries for garnish

Instructions

  • Make Blueberry Syrup:
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine blueberries, sugar, and water. Simmer for 4–5 minutes until berries burst and sauce thickens slightly.

  • Strain & Cool:
Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, and strain using a fine mesh sieve. Discard solids and let the syrup cool.

  • Assemble Latte:
Fill two tall glasses with ice. Pour 2 tablespoons of blueberry syrup into each.

  • Add Espresso:
Pour 1 shot of espresso into each glass over the syrup.

  • Top with Milk:
Add ½ cup cold milk into each glass. Stir gently to create a beautiful ombré effect.

  • Garnish & Serve:
Optionally, top with whipped cream and a few extra blueberries. Sip and enjoy!
