Instructions
- Pop those watermelon cubes into a blender and give them a whirl until they’re smooth and velv.
- Just pop a nut milk bag or a few layers of cheesecloth over a big bowl and let the juice strain through.
- Pour the mixture into a pitcher, then mix in the lime and ginger juices. Top it off with some sparkling water and add a sprinkle of fresh mint for a lovely touch, if you’d like!
Notes
- Picking the perfect watermelon: For the tastiest juice, start with a great watermelon from a farmer’s market health store. Choose one that’s heavy for its size, has a nice round shape, and sports a dark, dull skin rather than a shiny one. Don’t forget to check for a sweet yellow field spot!
- Mix it up a bit! Use the same easy method to whip up some tasty cantaloupe juice. Feeling adventurous? your watermelon juice into popsicle molds and freeze them for a fun, icy treat. If you’re in the mood for cocktails, why not try my delicious melon drinks like the watermelon cucumber cooler or the cantaloupe fiesta cocktail? Cheers!
