- 1 cup fresh spinach
- ½ frozen banana
- 1 small green apple (cored and chopped)
- ½ cucumber (peeled if desired)
- Juice of ½ lemon
- A small slice of fresh ginger (or ¼ tsp ground ginger)
- ½ – 1 cup cold water (adjust for preferred consistency)
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients: Wash the spinach, apple, and cucumber thoroughly. Cut the apple and cucumber into small chunks for easier blending.
- Add to blender: Place the spinach, frozen banana, green apple, cucumber, lemon juice, and ginger into a high-speed blender.
- Add water: Pour in ½ cup of cold water to start. You can add more later to adjust the texture.
- Blend until smooth: Blend on high for about 45–60 seconds or until the smoothie is creamy and well combined.
- Taste and adjust: If it’s too thick, add a little more water. For more tang, squeeze in extra lemon juice.
- Serve immediately: Pour into a glass and enjoy your fresh, hydrating Green Detox Smoothie!
